12 Days and 11 Nights in a bivouac by Land Cruiser 4X4

The Chech Erg, a immense dune testimony of irresistible attraction toward the great spaces, do not miss this discovery that offers you a confrontation with yourself, for the one who wants to live the desert experience, this occasion of personal discovery

DAY 1 & 2 : arrival at the Adrar Airport, destination Tsabit. Dinner and welcome evening, night at the resident. Briefing on the expedition, destination Erg Chech in a 4 X 4. Crossing of the El Messaoud Wadi and arrival at Oglet M'Hamed. Bivouac on site. 

DAY 3  : Continuation toward Hassi M'Dakken, corridor between Kehal Tabelbala and the dunes of the erg. Bivouac in the Erg Chech mountains in the surroundings of the Kord Meriem.

DAY 4 to 6  : Boubernous (Fort Fly Saint Marie), water point between the great dunes of the erg (350 metres), bivouac on site, settling of our life base. We will have the occasion to explore the most beautiful landscapes of the Erg Chech, prehistoric cradle, fossils and others. Possibility to meet Regibat nomads. 

DAY 7 & 8  : We will head for Tabelbala, through the Kehal Tabelbala mountains. Crossing of a mountain region, gullied stony track, separated on side and the other by impressive dune formations of the Erg Chech and the Erg Raoui. Bivouac on site. Continuation through the wadis to reach the Oasis of Tabelbala. Stop to discover the prehistoric sites, bivouac between the dunes of Tabelbala. 

DAY 9  : Excursion in Tabelbala, small desert oasis, veritable Eden nested in a sea of sand. Tour of the old ksar and of the prehistoric site. Night on site.

DAY 10  : early departure for Beni Abbes, we will go through Oglet Braber. We will go around the Erg Raoui to borrow a trail that leads to Beni Abbes. Stay at the Rym Hotel, discovery of the city, of the hermitage of the Père de Foucauld and of the Museum of Beni Abbes. 

DAY 11  : Taghit, the pearl of the desert with a visit of the rupestral engravings of the old ksar. Excursion on the edge of the Saoura wadi and of the oasis of Taghit. Night at the resident. 

DAY 12  : Transfer to the Bechar Airport destination Algiers.

For this type of expedition, the management is total.

Supervising  : We always circulate surrounded by a guide, a cook, a driver who is experienced in the sand, reg and any other terrain driving.

Meals  : the food is varied, based on local recipes, fruits, dates, mint tea, coffee, milk, etc. 

Lunch  : Mixed salads with tuna, sardines, dates and varied fruits, tea. 

Dinner : soups, warm plates with vegetables, dessert, tea around the fire. 

Bivouac : under the stars. The nights being cold, each will have a sleeping bag and a warm woollen sweater. We will provide a mattress and a blanket.

Moving around  : 4X4 Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles. For the type of exploration that we will be doing, it is recommended that at least three vehicles move around as well as a Man 4X4 truck for logistic. 

9 Days and 8 Nights in Timimoun, in the sebkha and the Oasis of Gourara in 4 X 4

DAY 1 : Arrival at the Algiers Airport. Greeting and transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 2 : Departure from the Algiers Airport for Timimoun. Tour of the city.

DAY 3 : Tourism Circuit (Timimoun - Badrane - Ighzer - Ouled Saïd).

DAY 4 : Aghlad (Contemplation of the dunes and of the sunset).

DAY 5 : Tour of the city of Tinerkouk - Ksar Kaddour.

DAY 6 : Camel ride (discovery of the region of the Desert Rose).

DAY 7 : Ouled Aïssa - Guentour 

DAY 8 : 1/2 day free time in Timimoun-city. Transer to the Timimoun Airport, destination Algiers. Night at the Airport Hotel.

DAY 9 : Transfer to the Algiers Airport. Assistance for departure.

10 Days and 9 Nights - Hikes to back of camels and treeckings (bivouac)

DAY 1 : Arrival at the Algiers Airport, greeting and transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 2 : Departure from the Algiers Airport for Timimoun. Tour of Timimoun - Ksar-Kaddour - Tinfirar - Timezlane - Tileghmine : 10 km.

DAY 3 : Tileghmine - Sidi-Mansour (MZID) : 13 km.

DAY 4 : Ouled Aich - Beni-Aissi : 15 km.

DAY 5 : Mabrouk - Semouta : 11 Km.

DAY 6 : Ouled-Said - Kali : 11 Km.

DAY 7 : Aghlad - Tala : 14 Km.

DAY 8 : Tala - Timimoun : 07 Km.

DAY 9 : Transfer to the Timimou Airport, destination Algiers. Night at the Airport Hotel.

DAY 10 : Transfer to the Algiers Airport. Assistance with departure.

DAY 1 : Arrival at the Algiers Airport, greeting and transfer to the Hotel.

DAY 2 : Departure from the Algiers Airport for Timimoun. Tour of Timimoun - Tala.

DAY 3 : Tala - El Ahmar (Guentour).

DAY 4 : Guentour - Semjane - Ouled-Ali.

DAY 5 : Ouled-Ali - Ouled-Aissa.

DAY 6 : Ouled-Aissa - El-kort - Aghlad.

DAY 7 : Aghlad - Ouled Saïd (Sand Rose).

DAY 8 : Sand Rose in Timimoun. Transfer to the Timimou Airport, destination Algiers. Night at the Airport Hotel.

DAY 9 : Transfer to the Algiers Airport. Assistance with departure.

* The hikes are of a distance of 10 to 15 Km / day.
